Emote help

I noticed that whenever someone uses a 7tv or bettertv emote they only show up as text. Is there a way to fix that? I remember on the streamelements version there was something in js for it but when I tried to use that code it didn't work still. I feel like I'm missing something but can't figure out what.

7TV emotes are not supported.

BetterTTV channel emotes are supported, but Better TTV global emotes are not.
